Wishing I was in Italy…

For some reason, I miss Italy this morning. The trip was over six months ago, but I found myself thinking this morning about how fantastic it was.

Maybe I should write a story set in Italy… transport myself back for a bit. Or maybe I should stop procrastinating and just write something… :)

Great, now I’m wishing I was back there…instead of here…at work. I’ll close my eyes and pretend :)

Writing something is good. (I just resorted to that over on Seedlings!)

And who knows why a particular place beckons us at a particular time? What did Italy mean for you… what did it unearth? That may be related to its resurgence in your memory now.

Sarah, Sorry. Let’s just go again! :)

LL, Right you are. The last two mornings have been moving in the right direction for me. And I’ve been reading your post-MH writings and I’m amazed at how you express yourself poetically even when lamenting wordlessness. Not only are you just writing, you’re also writing well. And offering encouragement to the rest of us who don’t often know what to say…

Also, great questions. I wouldn’t even know where to begin. It was an amazing journey of celebration with my wife and best friend (same person). It was also, I believe, a time I will look back upon as a shift: when I allowed my creative self to re-assert itself in my writing life. My life period, I suppose.

There’s more, but that about sums it up…

Just stopping in to tell you the good news (um)… you’ve been memed. :)
