LL, there’s a poem in there, I just know it… polity, poultry, rhyme, thyme. And of course, spice and nice. Though I think you’re observation is correct about the word “nice”

Cliff, this is bittersweet. The poem is great, it made me laugh. It also made me cry, due to circumstances which brought it about. Hill of beans and New Orleeans… very nice. Sad day for Spurs fans though…

Tried to write you a poem. Got stage fright. Or, more accurately, my tired brain could put out nothing of quality. So I opted for polity*. Not to be confused with poultry, which requires more spice and less rhyme (or perhaps that is thyme?). Which is nice.** *Prudence or wisdom in the management of public and private affairs; wisdom; sagacity; wit. **The best bad poetry always uses the word "nice". In my experience anyway.
